Starting Hole

Record the hole you started your round from.
1-18


Weather

Record the general weather condition.
R = Rain
F = Fine


Wind

Recored the general wind condition.
C = Calm
M = Moderate
W = Windy


Wind direction

Record the general wind direction.
N = North
NE = North East
Etc.


OB shots

Record the number of OB shots you had throughout the round. Note: Record the number of shots you hit out of bounds, i.e. not the penalty shots you incurred. E.g. if you hit one shot out of bounds, mark 1.
0 - 4+


Hazard shots

Record the number of hazard shots you had thoughout the round.
0 - 4+


Lost balls

Record the number of lost balls you had throughout the round. Note: Record the number of lost balls you had, i.e. not the penalty shots you incurred. E.g. if you lost one ball, mark 1.
0 - 4+


Gross

Record your gross score in the space provided.

Club off tee

Record the club you used off the tee when attempting to hit a fairway on a par 4 or 5. Note: only applicable for par 4's and 5's. For par 3's, record the club used off the tee as the 'Club to green'.
D = Driver
FW = Fairway wood
I = Iron


Fairway

Record where your ball finished in relation to the fairway.
L = Missed left of fairway
I = Hit fairway in regulation
R = Missed right of fairway


Club to green

Record club used for approach shot to green (e.g. 1st shot into a par 3, 2nd shot into par 4, and 3rd shot into a par 5).
FW = Fairway wood
UW = Utility wood
3 - 9 = Irons
W = Wedge
SW = Sand wedge


Green

Record where your ball finished in relation to the green.
L = Left of the green
I = Hit green in regulation
R = Right of the green
S = Short of the green
LG = Lon of the green


Putts

Record the number of putts you had from the putting surface.
0 - 3+


Chip

Definition: A chip shot is typically played from very close to the green, and is in the air very briefly before settling on the putting surface and rolling toward the cup.
Y =  If you attempted a chip
  
     shot on the hole and
       successfully got it up
       and down, record a 'Y'.
N = If you attempted a chip
       shot on the hole and did
       not get it up and down,
       record a 'N'.


Pitch

Definition: A pitch shot refers to a shot played with a highly lofted club that is designed to go a relatively short distance but with a high trajectory, and is in the air for most of its distance, with little roll once it hits the gree.
Y =  If you attempted a pitch
       shot on the hole and
       successfully got it up
       and down, record a 'Y'.
N = If you attempted a pitch
       shot on the hole and did
       not get it up and down,
       record a 'N'.


SS
(sand save)

Definition: Bunker shot.
Y =  If you attempted a
       bunker shot on the
       the hole and
       successfully got it
       up and down, record
       a 'Y'.
N = If you attempted a
       bunker shot and did
       not get it up and down,
       record a 'N'.


Gross score

Record your gross score for each hole. For a gross score greater between 10 and 19, e.g. 15, mark the 10 and the 5. If you pick-up on a hole mark the 'P'. A score of nett double-bogey will be assigned as the gross score for that hole for all statistical reports involving gross score. A gross score for each hole must be entered, i.e. only 18 hole rounds are accepted.

Blank

For the scorecard to be accepted, the only area that requires a mark is the 'Gross score' area. Other areas of the scorecard may be left blank.
